Q. How do I know what size container I should request?

Q. What should I know about having a container delivered?
A. The trucks that deliver front load dumpsters and roll-off have certain overhead and side clearance requirements. If you have low-hanging wires or branches they may interfere with delivery. Please call us if you have any concerns.
Q. Will a roll-off (construction container) hurt my driveway?
A. New driveways and driveways that are hot from the summer sun are subject to damage. If you have any concerns, give the driver boards to place under the roll-off wheels to spread the load.
Q. My driveway is on a hill. Can you put a container on it?
A. It depends on how steep the hill is. Call us to determine if a container can be placed where you need it. When the container is on a hill, the drive will place wedges under the wheels to keep it from rolling.
Q. Are there items that shouldn’t be put in the trash?
A. Yes. No liquids should be put into trash or construction containers. Liquids such as liquid paint, gasoline, solvents and other liquids are toxic and therefore prohibited. Because the containers are not designed to retain liquids they will leak out so they should be avoided. Other items that are prohibited include:
- Electronics and TVs
- Refrigerators, AC units and other appliances
- Tires • Mattresses
- Pesticides
- Asbestos • Any materials deemed to be toxic
- Household hazardous waste

Q. Sometimes I have extra trash which would overfill the dumpster. What should I do?
A. Dumpsters that are overfull or have items on the ground are subject to additional charges. If you have questions about your overage call us at 603 623-7933. To schedule an extra pick up, call or fill out the form here.
Q. Are there special procedures or anything else I should know about recycling?
A. Below are some recycling dos and don’ts.
- Bins used for recyclables may not exceed 30 gallons or 50 lbs. Pinard offers a vast assortment of recycling receptacles, which can be purchased at a discount, and delivered for no additional charge. Please call for details.
- All recyclables should be rinsed free of residue. Labels are acceptable and may remain on all containers.
- The crushing of milk jugs and cans is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Glass should be unbroken.
- Corrugated cardboard should be flattened and stacked, not to exceed 2’ x 2’ x 2’.
Do not bundle paper recyclables. Please place loosely stacked in paper bags (no plastic) or in a rigid recycling bin (details above).
